16-10-2009 I found the British House to be a little gem of a hotel and enjoyed my five night stay there. It only has seven rooms so you are assured of personal attention from the staff who are all very nice and speak good English. The breakfast was different that the usual fair, plentiful and very tasty. Room was reasonably large and comfortable, WiFi worked just fine and was faster even than the local internet cafe. Decor and comfort levels are not greater than 3.star (think of a better than average English Bed and Breakfast where the hosts are nice people and you've got a pretty good picture of what to expect). Only negative is that the hotel is located on a steep hill so if you are disable, old or very unfit you might want to book somewhere else. On the positive side the location is central and the area is very quiet. I had a good nights sleep every night and could even sleep during the day with the window open. Rooms are air-conditioned so ideal if you will work in your room.
