Quivertree Forest - Namibia is a place to avoid. If the sight of Kokerbome excites you then make this a day visit - of course you will have to pay. My overnight stay in their "igloo" which are revamped construction huts of a bygone era was only memorable because I was so tired I slept. The accommodation is below par and the owners are not people friendly - really couldn't give a damn what your overnight experience was like! The rates are ridiculously high and they take advantage of the fact that in that particular area there is not a dirth of alternative accommodation.
In their book tourists are not King so be prepared for the worst experience.
If you are forced to stay overnight take your own kitchen with you - their self-catering units are definitely not well equipped with even the most basic of equipment - no vegetable peeler, sharp knife, cereal bowls to name some that were missing.
