For the past few New Years we have been skiing and stayed at the Landenhof each year. The rooms are fresh and clean and the food is excellent. It is a short walk to the ski lifts in town but we have found that with a group it is easier (lazier!?) to book a taxi to take you to the Eggalmbahn and miss the manic queues at the Penken each morning it only costs a couple of euros each and Herr Volgger (hotel owner) will book it for you. Herr Volgger, his wife (Brigitte) and their staff are exceptional they will do anything for you, and are around all the time... it's like they never sleep!
The Landenhof is very popular as a restaurant in its own right, the food is so good. I recommend the Huntsmans Platter if you have a good appetite (and aren't vegetarian!). If you go at New year, see you there!

We verbleven in juli 2007 twee weken in dit hotel. Het hotel is mooi en rustig gelegen aan de bosrand.
Het is slechts enkele minuten lopen naar het centrum van Mayrhofen.
De kamers zijn keurig ingericht.
Er is een mooi restaurant en bij goed weer kan men op het terras eten met fraai uitzicht op het dorp en de bergen.
De eigenaar, zijn vrouw en het personeel zijn zeer vriendelijk.
De keuken is uitstekend!
Kortom: een hotel om zeer aan te bevelen.
