8-10-2010 City Hotel is goed gelegen in centrum van de hoofdstad.
Ontvangst is snel en professioneel, kamers zijn goed.
Hotel is een paar jaar geleden gerenoveerd en is zeer modern en klantvriendelijk.
Prima uitgebreid ontbijt.
Ligging zeer centraal , 2 min lopen van Preseren plein , bij de drie bruggen.
Goed voor zowel zakelijk als ,(korte) vakantie in Ljubljana

25-6-2009 The staff was friendly, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was great. My only complaint was the lack of a decent AC unit. We were there in early June and it was very hot which made it difficult to sleep.

It is absolutely the only hotel in the centre of Ljubljana which combines acceptable prices with acceptable standard. Perhaps that is the reason why it was overcrowded, which influenced the quality of service somewhat, but as soon as we were in our rooms we were able to rest in comfort and peace, which we find important.

25-6-2009 The City Hotel is a newly and tastefully refurbished hotel very close to the beautiful city centre. The staff were all very helpful even at 5am in the morning! I would strongly recommend the hotel and will certainly stay there again myself.

25-6-2009 Chambre refaite récemment. Calme (sur cour). Peut-être un peu trop chauffée (pas de thermostat dans la chambre). Literie confortable.
Très beau buffet. En conclusion, hôtel plus que recommandable d'autant plus
qu'il est très bien situé (à 100m de la gare centrale et donc de la liaison par bus avec l'aéroport qui est très pratique).
remarque supplémentaire concernant Ljubljana : c'est une jolie ville, mais attention à partir de samedi midi, tous les magasins y sont fermés. la ville semble morte (c'est le cas des autres villes de Slovénie).

18-9-2007 Wij hebben een nacht in dit hotel doorgebracht dat we op doorreis waren en het is ons prima bevallen. We hadden niet geboekt en zijn er gewoon binnen gelopen. We kregen een grote kamer met aparte en grote badkamer met ligbad en aparte douche. Alles zag er super uit en straalde toch wel een luxe uit.
Ook hete eten was prima. Het enige was dat in het straatbeeld van het centrum het hotel net iets te modern aandeed, maar dat had ook wel weer iets

25-6-2009 Very convenient. Clean and functional. The morning coffee was a little disappointing, but otherwise everything was ok.

25-6-2009 When we arrived we found the hotel was undergoing major building works - due to continue till 2007. We weren't aware of this when we booked. The Receptionist was surly and our room was incredibly hot. We'd understood that all rooms were equipped with A/C but this wasn't the case for us and it was really difficult to sleep. All in all, not a great experience.
